Graduate Engineers / Supply chain Wanted - Maun, Botswana

In line with an opportunity that has presented itself in our Botswana operations, we are seeking applications from qualified and experienced candidates to join our team. These positions will be based at Zone 5 under Khoemacau Copper Mining (KCM) located near Maun in the north west of Botswana.
1. Graduate Mining Engineer
Job Summary:
Ensures the continued support of the site management team in all engineering and non-technical requirements, emphasizing productivity and the technical aspects of the role while maintaining the values of Safety, Integrity and Excellence.
Key Responsibilities/Requirements of the position:

• Ensure mining physicals are achieved as per contract / client schedules.
• Ensure an intimate understanding of the site contract, variations and management plans and ensure that Barminco is compliant with these requirements.
• Ensure client requirements are met contractually and maintain a favourable relationship with the client.
• Use analysis and implementation of cost reduction initiatives.
• Production monitoring.
• Monthly performance reporting.
• Management of Quality Assurance Programmes.
• Budget preparation.
• Assists with the preparation of monthly claims and interface with the Client.
  Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelors Degree in Mining Engineering
• 2 years Underground experience
• Manual Drivers License (Class B)

2. Graduate Supply Chain Management Trainee
Key Responsibilities/Requirements of the position:

• Unloading and loading of transport vehicles
• Conduct the receipting and storage of all goods, including Dangerous Goods
• Raise purchase requisitions for goods and services
• Carry out stock management activities including stock reconciliation, goods issuing and cyclic stock taking Adherence with business processes and policies that facilitates teamwork and continuous improvement
  Required Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics Management
• High levels of computer literacy
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid Drivers License (Class B)
